Role overview
JPMorganChase is hiring a Business Assistant in Riyadh to support the Investment Banking team. This position is central to the smooth running of daily business activity and requires someone who can act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders while maintaining a polished, professional presence.
The role focuses on helping leaders stay organized, keeping operations on track, and improving overall productivity. You will be expected to handle sensitive matters with discretion, deliver accurate work, and represent the bank courteously and professionally in every interaction.
Key duties
- Keep complex calendars up to date and manage the scheduling and coordination of internal and external meetings, including all related logistics.
- Plan and organize both domestic and overseas travel arrangements.
- Handle the end-to-end setup of offsite meetings, conferences, and external events, including catering and transport coordination.
- Prepare and process invoices and travel and entertainment expense claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
- Draft clear, polished emails and messages for stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
- Work closely with the wider administrative assistant community to provide seamless mutual support.
- Take ownership of ad hoc assignments and coordinate special projects when required.
Required background and capabilities
The ideal candidate should speak Arabic fluently and be fully comfortable using English in reading, writing, and speaking. Strong command of Microsoft Office is essential, along with a well-developed ability to prioritize, structure tasks, and stay organized under pressure.
Experience working with senior leaders is important, as this role involves handling confidential information with tact and sound judgment. Strong interpersonal ability, written communication, verbal communication, and professional phone manner are all needed. Prior exposure to banking or a multinational company is expected.
