Role overview
We’re looking for a Brand Strategist to shape and deliver a senior-level approach to brand growth and social presence. This position centers on building audiences, planning content, guiding short-form video direction, and offering paid social recommendations for channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms. Paid media is part of the role, but the main priority is to create an authentic, active community and a clear brand identity.
What you’ll do
- Create a growth plan for audiences across Instagram, TikTok, and additional social channels.
- Advise on the content themes, pillars, and positioning needed to build a differentiated social brand.
- Recommend strategies for Reels and other short-form video formats, including posting rhythm and content style.
- Design and support community engagement efforts, along with creator and fan partnership initiatives.
- Share high-level paid media guidance across Meta Ads, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with brand growth goals.
- Identify key target audiences and advise on segmentation and expansion opportunities.
- Work closely with the filmmaker and internal stakeholders to keep social strategy aligned with wider brand objectives.
What we’re looking for
- Background in audience growth, social media strategy, and paid media, ideally for entertainment, media, or creator-led brands.
- Hands-on experience with Instagram, TikTok, Meta/Facebook, and short-form video content.
- Strong understanding of community development and how to engage creators and audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a freelance consulting capacity while providing strategic direction.
- Preference for candidates based in the US, or those who have solid knowledge of US film and entertainment audiences.
