The right candidate will bring experience in brand management, licensing, or consumer products, along with the ability to handle several licensees, approval cycles, schedules, and cross-team coordination in a fast-moving environment.
You will work closely with internal teams across Creative, Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Leadership, while also serving as the everyday contact for outside licensing partners.

- Act as the main contact for licensees on approvals, timelines, launches, and brand-related initiatives.
- Evaluate and sign off on product submissions, packaging, marketing assets, advertising, social media content, and retail presentations so they remain aligned with brand standards.
- Keep all licensed products and brand touchpoints consistent with the brand identity.
- Support growth of the brand through new category opportunities and licensing strategies.
- Make sure licensees follow contract terms, brand rules, and delivery schedules.
Approvals and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Manage the full approval process from concept stage through final production.
- Work alongside Creative, Design, Marketing, and Product Development teams to improve approval flow and protect brand consistency.
- Maintain calendars for approvals, due dates, launch milestones, and seasonal submissions.
- Provide licensees with prompt, clear, and actionable feedback by coordinating with internal teams.
- Keep well-organized documentation for submissions, approvals, and licensing records.
Business and Retail Support
- Track market movements, competitor activity, and category results.
- Support retailer meetings, licensing pitches, and brand strategy conversations.
- Review product performance data and identify areas where the brand can expand further.
- Help coordinate trade shows, market appointments, and important partner meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, agents, and strategic partners.
Qualifications
- At least 4–8+ years of experience in licensing, brand management, consumer products, wholesale apparel, or a similar field.
- Background with licensed brands, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer products is strongly preferred.
- Good working knowledge of product approval processes and licensing operations.
- Strong organizational ability with comfort managing several categories and deadlines at once.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software.
- Experience with major retailers, licensees, or global partners is an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000.
