Job description

Role overview

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is hiring a graduate-entry Brand Manager in Schwalbach am Taunus, Hesse, Germany. P&G is a global consumer goods company with a long heritage and a portfolio of trusted brands that reach billions of consumers around the world.

The company emphasizes internal growth, leadership development, and a culture that supports learning, collaboration, and personal development.

Your role

This position is an early-career opportunity in brand management where you will help shape brand strategy and execution from the outset. You will act with ownership over your business area, turning ideas into action and contributing to the commercial and marketing direction of the brand.

Your work will include building master plans for product and commercial innovation, managing marketing activity across channels, and developing concepts based on consumer, shopper, and customer insights. You may also test new approaches such as creative campaigns, digital pilots, and fresh ideas to attract new users.

Depending on business needs, you may be placed in one of three areas: Commercial Operations for a specific brand or category, Brand Operations across multiple categories on a particular marketing touchpoint, or Sales focused on marketing plans for a specific customer across categories.

Requirements

Applicants should have, or be on track to complete before joining, a bachelor’s or master’s degree with strong academic performance. The role calls for strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, leadership ambition, and genuine enthusiasm for brand management.

You should be comfortable collaborating with diverse teams and bring creativity, initiative, and an innovative mindset. The role also requires the confidence to make complex decisions using available data while still applying sound judgment and instinct.

Strong written and spoken English is required, along with a solid command of German. Prior short work experience, internships, or studies abroad will be viewed positively.

Candidates with more than 2 years of work experience after university graduation, excluding internships, are asked to apply for the Young Professional role instead.

What the employer offers

You will receive meaningful responsibility from day one, along with a permanent employment contract in a stable, crisis-resistant market.

Compensation starts at €67,500 annually, with performance-based salary reviews each year and an annual bonus beginning in the first year. The role also includes a wide set of benefits such as flexible and hybrid working options, Christmas and vacation bonus, company pension plan, stock purchase programs, job ticket, campus canteen, fitness center access, and well-being support.

You can expect a tailored development plan with coaching and training through Brand Management Colleges, P&G Leadership Academy, brand-building frameworks, and business writing and presentation development. Career growth is supported through role rotations every 2 to 3 years, including the possibility of working at the Geneva headquarters.

You will also have the chance to work with multifunctional teams in an international environment and participate in employee communities, networking groups, leadership events, and sports activities.

Application requirements

Applicants are asked to prepare the following documents for the online assessment and interview process: a CV as a separate file, an optional cover letter tailored to the role, bachelor’s and master’s diplomas and transcripts if applicable, and copies of relevant work, internship, volunteering certificates, or reference letters.

All documents should be uploaded in the CV/Resume field. Incomplete applications may slow down the recruitment process.

Equal opportunity and accommodation

P&G states that it is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity, inclusion, and a workplace where everyone can bring their full selves to work.

Reasonable accommodation is available for candidates with disabilities during the application or interview process. Candidates needing accommodation are asked to wait for a response before continuing with the online assessment.
