About the Company
Crew® is an e-commerce business based in Columbus that builds practical, craft-oriented products for bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and bartenders. The company operates two brands, Crew® and Garny®, and is preparing for continued expansion.
Role Overview
Crew is seeking a highly organized Brand Experience Designer with a strong design mindset to support and scale customer-facing brand experiences across Crew® and Garny®. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role focuses on turning strategy into polished execution across campaigns, website updates, email marketing, packaging, sales materials, and other brand touchpoints. The role is best suited to someone who combines design skill, operational discipline, and brand stewardship, with a goal of improving creative quality, protecting consistency, and helping marketing work more efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain creative assets for customer-facing use across Crew® and Garny®.
- Design materials for email, web, paid media, packaging, sales collateral, and social media.
- Support ongoing improvements to Shopify storefronts and the overall customer experience.
- Create and refresh product pages, collection pages, landing pages, and merchandising content.
- Keep design files, templates, systems, and brand guidelines organized and up to date.
- Handle several projects, deadlines, approvals, and deliverables at the same time.
- Work with outside partners supporting paid advertising and email campaigns.
- Make sure all creative work is accurate, refined, and aligned with brand standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in graphic design, marketing design, creative production, or a similar role supporting eCommerce brands.
- A strong portfolio showing work across multiple brand and marketing channels.
- Practical Shopify experience, including building and improving product pages, collection pages, landing pages, and merchandising experiences.
- Advanced ability in Figma.
- Experience creating and launching email marketing assets in Klaviyo or a comparable tool.
- Solid skills in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent organization and a sharp eye for detail.
- Proven ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Strong creative judgment and the confidence to make brand-consistent decisions with limited guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with agencies or other external marketing partners is an advantage. Additional pluses include paid social creative experience, packaging or print production work, light HTML/CSS or front-end web knowledge, photography or photo editing experience, and creative direction experience. Background with consumer products, hospitality, lifestyle, or subscription-based businesses, as well as retention marketing exposure, would also be valuable.
