About Tonal
Tonal builds an intelligent home gym and personal training system that has reshaped at-home workouts through a refined product design and advanced AI capabilities. The company brings together experienced specialists and years of research to improve strength training so it feels more effective, more efficient, and more engaging.
The team is focused on carrying that same inventive mindset into the workplace, with a culture centered on creativity, innovation, and building products and teams that make a real difference. Tonal values collaboration, fresh thinking, and people who want to help redefine the future of fitness.
Role Overview
Tonal is looking for a versatile Brand Content Producer to develop compelling visual assets across its marketing channels. This person should be highly skilled in photography, videography, and visual editing, with a distinct creative perspective and the ability to turn brand strategy into attention-grabbing content that works across campaign, email, retail, and other touchpoints.
The role combines hands-on production execution with brand storytelling. The goal is to create original content that strengthens Tonal’s brand presence across every channel where it appears.
What You’ll Do
- Create and produce photo and video assets for web, retail, organic social, paid advertising, email, events, and out-of-home placements.
- Collaborate with the Brand team to develop and execute original visual concepts that express the Tonal brand across different formats and audiences.
- Work from channel and campaign briefs to shape hero assets and supporting visuals, adapting them for each platform while preserving the overall creative vision.
- Handle production from start to finish, including planning, shot lists, capture, editing, and final delivery.
- Coordinate with Tonal’s studio production team to find opportunities to capture brand and marketing content during existing fitness shoots, making the most of time on set.
- Build genuine rapport with on-camera talent so the resulting content feels natural and authentic.
- Keep up with evolving visual trends in fitness, wellness, and lifestyle content.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in photography and videography, preferably with consumer brands.
- A portfolio that shows versatility across lifestyle, social, product, and motion work, along with a strong personal visual style.
- Advanced post-production ability across photo and video tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut.
- Experience creating content for multiple end uses, with an understanding of how format and context influence creative choices.
- Capability to manage shoots independently, including directing talent and handling lighting and sound when required.
- Comfort working collaboratively, receiving feedback, and iterating quickly and constructively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with producers, directors, crew, and an established team.
- Familiarity with AI creative tools is considered an advantage.
- Interest in fitness, health, or wellness is preferred.
- Willingness to work from Tonal’s New York studio for shoots and to travel when needed.
