Role Overview
The Branch Service Incharge position is based in Aurangabad and involves ensuring efficient service and battery management operations aligned with company standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct battery testing and diagnostics strictly following company standard operating procedures using authorized instruments.
- Facilitate warranty assessments, approvals, and ensure timely claim processing to maintain service quality.
- Lead and train service technicians and dealership personnel in correct service procedures and practices.
- Oversee battery logistics, including the movement, record maintenance, and stock control at service centers and field locations.
- Regularly visit dealer outlets and customer sites to provide service assistance, perform battery inspections, and manage complaint resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance of service stations and dealer facilities.
- Track service turnaround time (TAT), warranty risks, and enforce adherence to corporate policies.
- Support the analysis of failed batteries, manage scrap processes, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Utilize company software systems including SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), dashboards, and reporting tools for service operation management.
- Assist with internal and external audits ensuring all necessary documentation and records are accessible.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Quality, Research & Development, Logistics, and Sales to resolve service-related issues.
Role Deployment and Rotation
- Assignments may alternate between Service Station and Field roles to align with business demands.
- Periodic rotation between on-site service stations and field positions is expected to enhance skills and meet operational needs.
Experience
Candidates should have between 2 and 3 years of relevant professional experience.
