Booker (w/m/d)

About the Role

This position sits within the internal post-production team and provides support to both employees and freelancers working in post-production. As an experienced Booker, you will play a central part in coordinating multiple projects from the early kick-off stage through to final invoicing. The role calls for strong client service skills, both in direct interaction and in written communication, along with a solid understanding of post-production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange bookings and schedules for freelance cutters and editors.
• Prepare contracts and monitor all compliance-related paperwork.
• Develop weekly as well as longer-term post-production schedules.
• Work closely with production teams to identify and place suitable editors and cutters.
• Support the resolution of post-production issues and workflow problems.
• Handle invoice processing for freelance editors.
• Stay current with new technologies and workflow improvements in post-production.

Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational ability.
• Confident working with systems and relevant tools.
• Good understanding of post-production processes.
• Comfortable delivering accurate work under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
• Friendly, collaborative, and effective in a small-team environment.
• Substantial experience communicating with production staff verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to plan ahead to keep post-production facilities and staff used efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and careful working style.
• At least three years of relevant experience in a post-production or production setting.

Working Setup

This is primarily an on-site role, with limited flexibility to work from home up to 1–2 days per week.
