Job description
Job Overview
A guidance center in Jeddah is recruiting full-time Behavioral Health Technicians to work on-site with children requiring behavioral interventions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement positive reinforcement and instructional strategies aimed at achieving individual client goals.
- Customize behavioral techniques to align with each child's unique needs, enhancing engagement while minimizing undesirable behaviors.
- Develop foundational skills and coach clients in independence, including verbal and non-verbal communication, social, and basic academic capabilities.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents to provide consistent updates on the child's progress in line with established policies.
- Execute behavior intervention plans designed and approved by a supervising behavior analyst (BCBA/QBA).
- Accurately gather daily performance and behavior data, create reports, and submit them to the supervising analyst for progress tracking and plan adjustments.
- Offer direct support during sessions to encourage positive behaviors such as attention, interaction, responsiveness, and persistence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a current and valid RBT or ABAT certification.
- Experience working with children who have special needs.
- Commitment to working under direct supervision of a certified behavior analyst (BCBA/QBA).
Supervision and Professional Development
- Work under the close oversight of a certified behavior analyst (BCBA/QBA).
- Participate regularly in training programs and workshops to ensure continuous professional growth and adherence to best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
