About Lola's Cupcakes and the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Baker to become a vital part of our production department. Key Responsibilities
- Work shifts typically from 12pm to 8pm-10pm based on production needs.
- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, cupcakes, and sponge items meeting Lola's exacting quality benchmarks.
- Take ownership of your production area to keep workflows running smoothly during both normal and peak times.
- Track ingredient and stock levels, coordinating effectively with other teams to maintain efficient operations.
- Uphold stringent standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality consistently.
- Adapt to new products, recipes, and processes as the product range evolves.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working commercially in a bakery is mandatory.
- Skill and confidence baking cakes, sponges, and cupcakes in a production setting.
- Self-reliance in task management combined with strong teamwork abilities.
- Sharp attention to detail to ensure consistent product excellence.
- Effective communication capabilities.
- Ability to maintain productivity in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, positive approach and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Additional experience with preparing items like scones, cookies, and bread is a plus.
- Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the UK and be able to present relevant documentation before starting.
