- Follow food safety, sanitation, cold-chain, and inventory standards while operating, cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment.
- Use digital tools and handheld technology to support sales, improve the shopping experience, make quick production and ordering decisions, and adapt to new systems.
- Maintain work areas to company standards, control product quality and dating, protect fragile and high-shrink items, reduce waste, and ensure items are packaged and stored correctly.
- Support members with purchase decisions and deliver service that reflects pride in the department and the club.
- Follow company ethics, integrity standards, and procedures, including using the Open Door Policy and applying policy guidance in daily work.
- Complete assigned work by using policies, data, and available resources, coordinating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners, and adjusting to feedback and changing priorities.

Financial benefits include a 401(k), stock purchase plan, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off may include PTO, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave, and PTO or PPTO can be used for vacation, sick time, holidays, or other needs depending on classification and length of service. Additional benefits may include short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, and adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement.
Full-time and part-time associates may also be eligible for a company-paid education program through Live Better U, which can cover programs from high school completion through bachelor's degrees, English language learning, and short certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by the employer.
