As a Maintenance Associate, you will be instrumental in ensuring the parking lot, restrooms, and floors are consistently clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Ensure the facility's safety by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting protocols, managing hazardous materials safely, complying with steel standard guidelines, and reporting or correcting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all facility areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, by following established company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Contribute to a safe and clean environment for both members and associates by performing necessary maintenance tasks, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and managing cardboard, plastic, and trash disposal in line with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
- Manage adequate stock of approved chemicals and supplies to ensure a clean and safe facility, including proper rotation and storage of chemicals and placing orders for low-stock items.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work an entire shift on your feet and in physically demanding environments.
- Willingness to adapt to changing work scenarios and fast-paced environments.
