Position Overview
The company offers comprehensive auto body services, including collision repairs, scratch and dent fixes, paintless dent removal, premium refinishing, windshield and glass repairs, and round-the-clock accident support. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ready them for painting.
- Use hand tools and power equipment to sand surfaces smoothly.
- Mask and shield portions of vehicles not to be painted.
- Eliminate dirt, debris, and surface flaws to secure proper paint adhesion.
- Assist in mixing paints and primers as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Help operate and maintain paint application tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with the painting team to sustain effective workflow and ensure quality results.
- Keep work areas tidy and well-organized.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and workshop policies.
- Perform additional assigned tasks by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive prepping or collision repair environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning surface preparation methods.
- Ability to prepare vehicles and parts for painting in line with OEM and shop standards.
- Familiarity with sanders, fillers, masking tape, spray equipment, and related materials.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring excellent paint finishes.
- Capability to follow directions from painters and production supervisors.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.
- Physically able to stand for extended durations, bend, lift, and handle necessary tools and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper usage of personal protective equipment.
- Valid driver's license required.
