Role Summary

This position is responsible for managing the organisation’s social media publicity efforts. The role focuses on producing and publishing content that strengthens QNB’s image, improves reputation, and helps raise the company profile. It also involves planning social media campaigns and building partnerships with selected high-value customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply the department’s policies and procedures to support a structured and effective social media presence.
  • Help shape and deliver a clear social media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness and equity.
  • Work with internal departments to develop regular content that promotes the marketing message and enhances the organisation’s image.
  • Maintain a consistent message across social media channels and help reinforce the organisation’s position.
  • Partner with external marketing agencies when required and contribute to distinctive marketing initiatives and collaborations.
  • Track social media activity regularly and assess market trends.
  • Monitor competitors and stay updated on market developments and changes.
  • Review performance statistics to evaluate the effectiveness of social media marketing efforts.
  • Prepare analytics reports and present campaign and trend insights to management.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in business, advertising, marketing, or a closely related field is required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in marketing and social media.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English; Arabic is preferred.
  • Proven ability to motivate a team and follow up thoroughly on project plans and implementation.
  • Ability to carry initiatives through to completion.
  • Strong planning and organising skills.
  • Comfortable working with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
