Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain databases along with quantitative datasets to enhance fund filtering, analysis, and ensure research precision.
- Gather, organize, and assess data necessary for reviewing fund managers, producing sector reports, and supporting research efforts.
- Take part in fund manager evaluation meetings and prepare comprehensive review documentation.
- Develop detailed research reports, providing investment evaluations and recommendations across diverse asset categories.
- Evaluate fund manager criteria scores and present investment ratings to the research committee.
- Distribute finalized research reports to clients and integrate pertinent feedback from fund managers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional written communication skills to convey intricate investment concepts clearly.
- Strong numerical proficiency, analytical capabilities, and expertise in spreadsheet operations, with particular attention to detail.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for financial markets and investments spanning fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative asset classes.
- Ability to cultivate relationships and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external fund managers.
- Possession of a finance degree or an equivalent qualification relevant to investment research.
