Job description

Role overview

This position sits within Mondelēz International’s brand and portfolio marketing function. The role focuses on shaping and executing brand strategy for assigned brands so they support the company’s long-term vision, deliver sustainable growth, and meet business goals. It also contributes to profit-and-loss management and future growth planning, including new product development and opportunities across platforms.

What you’ll do

You will partner with cross-functional global and regional teams to bring brand plans to life. The work includes building and rolling out brand strategies, supporting product and packaging development, setting pricing direction, and planning integrated marketing communications and media activity. You will also help prepare commercial plans, support marketing plan execution, and track performance against revenue and profit objectives, share goals, and broader business targets.

Using consumer insights, brand positioning, and strategic thinking, you will help create integrated marketing communication plans and 360-degree campaigns that connect with shoppers and strengthen the brand.

Experience and capabilities

The ideal candidate brings a track record of delivering strong outcomes, preferably in fast-moving consumer goods or similar marketing environments. You should understand the brand and the consumer clearly, be comfortable working independently, and be able to influence stakeholders effectively. The role calls for a mix of analytical thinking and creativity, along with solid commercial judgment, strategic awareness, persuasive presentation skills, and hands-on project management from concept through delivery.

Role-specific requirements

  • Previous experience in consumer packaged goods is considered an advantage.
  • An undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing or brand management is expected.
  • Standard business hours apply from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement.
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position.
  • This is a current vacancy.
  • AI may be used during recruitment, in line with applicable local laws.

Compensation and benefits

The expected base salary for this role is CAD 76,800 to CAD 96,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base pay, the role is eligible for a competitive bonus plan with a target of 8%, plus the possibility of higher payouts based on performance and company results.

Benefits may include health insurance, wellness and family support, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave, education-related programs, and enhanced vacation and holiday entitlements. Some benefits are subsidized or fully covered by the company.
