About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for BWS in Coolalinga, Northern Territory. This position suits a people-focused leader who can bring energy, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility to a busy retail environment. The goal is to help build a vibrant workplace culture while supporting the store to perform strongly on customer experience, sales, and operational standards.
What You’ll Do
- Guide, motivate, and develop the store team so they can reach targets and work to a high standard, using available business tools and your own initiative.
- Support a customer-first and safety-led workplace, while contributing to ongoing improvements.
- Oversee and delegate daily work across stock control, store presentation, housekeeping, and team coordination, with a strong focus on sales growth and budget delivery.
- Use strong interpersonal skills to create an outstanding experience for both customers and team members.
- Spot opportunities to improve performance and help achieve business goals and key measures.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service rules and store requirements.
- Shape store presentation and local activities in a way that connects with customers and the community.
