A 4-day work week may be available to support work-life balance, subject to personal needs and business requirements. Flexibility is discussed individually.

What you will do

  • Support the department’s daily operations and help keep things running smoothly.
  • Work alongside the wider store team to deliver a consistently positive customer experience.
  • Model customer care behaviours through acknowledge, care and thank.
  • Help maintain a safe workplace by following the correct in-store procedures.
  • Build your understanding of department processes and contribute practical support to the team.
  • Collaborate with others to achieve strong outcomes across the store.
  • Develop your leadership style and progress toward future leadership opportunities.
  • Work across stores when required to support an end-to-end customer shopping experience.

What you bring

  • A genuine focus on customer service and the ability to lead by example.
  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to following procedures.
  • Interest in learning department operations and how to support a team effectively.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Awareness of your own leadership approach and a desire to grow.
  • Curiosity and motivation to build new skills and capabilities.
  • Appreciation for working across stores and adapting to changing needs.

What you can expect

  • Development through the Stores Leadership Pathway, including practical experience and learning.
  • Access to team discounts across Woolworths Group brands through the Everyday Rewards Program.
  • 24/7 wellbeing support for you and your family through the Sonder app.
  • Paid parental leave for primary caregivers, plus access to Grace Papers resources for balancing family and work.
  • Flexible working options, including the possibility of a 4-day work week.
  • An inclusive team environment with strong support for belonging and growth.
