Job description

Role overview

We are looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join a friendly hospitality team in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The position offers £30,659.20 per year and is based on a 40-hour working week. The role suits someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys developing others, and wants to help create an excellent guest experience.

What the job involves

You will support the housekeeping department by coaching, motivating, and training team members so they can perform at their best. A major part of the role is working with the team to make sure guest bedrooms and public areas are kept to the expected standard every day. Experience in a similar position within a branded hotel environment is preferred.

Attention to detail is essential, as the role requires a sharp eye for quality and consistency across the property. The business operates every day of the year, so flexibility with shifts and working days is important. Evening and weekend working may be required, and exact shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed during interview.

Training and development

If you are interested in career growth, there are nationally recognised apprenticeship options available alongside structured brand training. The employer also offers internal development programmes to help team members progress in their roles.

Perks and benefits

  • Special hotel rates for team members, including rooms from £30 bed and breakfast.
  • Discounted accommodation for friends and family.
  • 50% off food and drinks in restaurants and bars.
  • Complimentary meals while on shift.
  • Access to retail, experience, and lifestyle discounts.
  • Up to 40% savings through the Cycle To Work scheme.
  • Refer-a-friend rewards starting from £250.
  • Wellbeing activities such as healthy lunches, wellbeing walks, payday treats, and the annual #HealthyHabits campaign.
  • 24/7 confidential support through the Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan options from £5 per month.
  • Fully funded apprenticeship programmes.
  • Service awards offered monthly and annually to recognise achievement.

Equal opportunity statement

The employer welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or age.
