The Team

As part of the Butler team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, you will work with a service-focused group dedicated to delivering highly personalized, elevated guest experiences. This position works closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams and reports to the Director of Rooms. The role is central to preserving the quality and reputation of Rosewood’s butler service.

Role Overview

The Assistant Chief Butler supports the day-to-day leadership of the Butler department and helps ensure that service remains seamless, thoughtful, and intuitive throughout the guest journey. The role serves as an important connection between guests and internal departments, with a strong focus on anticipating needs, enhancing key touchpoints, and tailoring every stay. It contributes directly to guest satisfaction, strong collaboration across teams, and the delivery of Rosewood’s high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily butler operations to deliver consistently exceptional and personalized guest service.
• Oversee the guest experience from pre-arrival through arrival, in-room service, stay, departure, and post-departure follow-up.
• Track guest preferences and make sure they are accurately recorded and consistently followed by the team.
• Support the butler team through coaching, training, and routine quality checks.
• Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and other departments to maintain smooth communication and service execution.
• Handle special-attention guests, including bespoke amenities, in-room dining arrangements, and airport transfer coordination.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in luxury guest service and is comfortable supporting a high-performing butler team in a premium hotel environment. You should be polished, organized, discreet, and confident in delivering highly personalized service. The role also requires strong familiarity with hotel systems and the ability to recommend local experiences with insight and care.

Experience and Technical Knowledge

You should have 2 to 3 years of experience as a Butler Supervisor or in a luxury guest service role within a 5-star hotel. Familiarity with Opera, KC, and 360 systems is important, along with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology.

Knowledge of local attractions and the ability to create thoughtful, tailor-made recommendations are also important.
