Overview
Adara Communities is seeking an experienced, hands-on Apartment Property Manager for The District at Westborough, a 340-unit conventional community in Katy, TX. The company combines four decades of industry know-how with a modern focus on technology, service, and resident experience. The role is ideal for a leader who can balance operations, team development, resident care, and financial management in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day running of a 340-unit apartment community.
- Guide, coach, train, and evaluate onsite team members to support strong performance.
- Track and report key operating metrics such as budget performance, occupancy, leasing results, and financial status.
- Oversee rent collection, manage delinquency issues, and keep operating expenses under control.
- Handle resident complaints, disturbances, and policy violations with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Strengthen leasing outcomes through effective sales and marketing efforts.
- Carry out regular property inspections, including vacant homes and common-area walk-throughs.
- Maintain accurate records, follow company procedures, and stay highly organized.
- Promote excellent customer service and uphold community standards at all times.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings at least 2 years of apartment management experience, including supervision of onsite staff, along with a stable employment history. Success in this role requires strong leadership, coaching, sales, marketing, customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience with conventional communities of 200+ units is required. A bilingual English/Spanish background is helpful but not mandatory. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.
