Role Overview

Adara Communities is hiring an Apartment Leasing Agent for Sandshell at Fossil Creek, a 252-unit community in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, self-driven, and comfortable working in a busy, resident-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Welcome prospective residents, qualify them effectively, and guide them through the leasing process with a polished and enthusiastic approach.
• Drive apartment leases to help the community maintain strong occupancy and leasing results.
• Review applications, complete leasing documents, and keep records accurate and organized.
• Deliver high-quality service to both residents and prospects.
• Bring in new leads through outreach and active community involvement.
• Plan and support resident events while helping strengthen resident relationships.
• Manage and update the property’s social media presence to encourage engagement and generate traffic.
• Assist the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager with day-to-day operational support.
• Serve as a professional and approachable representative of the community.

What the Employer Is Looking For

• At least 1 year of prior experience leasing conventional apartments is required.
• Demonstrated sales ability and a track record of closing leases.
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and a neat, professional presentation.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, which are required.
• Experience creating social media or marketing content is a strong advantage.
• Consistent work history.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful but not mandatory.
• Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.
