Role Summary

The Apartment Leasing Manager will lead leasing activities and help keep day-to-day community operations running smoothly. The position calls for someone who is organized, service-driven, and comfortable balancing sales, administration, resident communication, and team support.

Key Duties

• Lease available apartments to help maintain occupancy levels and support revenue targets.
• Handle rent collection, post rent payments, and issue late notices when needed.
• Assist with move-out notices, service requests, and resident transfer paperwork.
• Support management tasks and contribute to the smooth functioning of the property.
• Protect resident privacy by keeping information and records confidential.
• Prepare reports, leasing paperwork, and other required administrative documents.
• Help maintain an active social media presence to improve visibility and attract prospects.
• Coach and support the Leasing Agent to improve performance and leasing results.
• Deliver strong customer service to current residents and prospective renters.
• Work closely with the Property Manager and the onsite team to support overall community success.

Required Background

• At least 3 years of prior experience as an Assistant Manager in the apartment industry, with solid leasing experience; this is required.
• Demonstrated ability in sales and leasing, including closing prospects effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
• Experience creating social media or marketing content is strongly preferred.
• A consistent and stable work history.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits
