Role Overview
As an Analytical Chemist / Biologist, you will contribute to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods for measuring metabolites, proteins, and enzymatic activity in human samples. The position combines hands-on lab work, method optimization, scientific documentation, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement bioanalytical methods to measure metabolites, proteins, or enzyme activity in human specimens.
- Carry out method validation in line with internationally recognized standards, including ICH M10.
- Research recent scientific advances, technologies, and analytical approaches.
- Optimize laboratory assays by adjusting extraction procedures, LC-MS settings, or ELISA workflows, including the preparation of solutions and buffers.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues when instruments or assays do not perform as expected.
- Prepare work instructions, validation plans, and reports, and provide regular project updates to customers.
Candidate Profile
- A completed Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Biology is required.
- Hands-on experience with Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry is expected.
- Prior exposure to ELISA, Western Blot, or similar techniques is an advantage.
- Good understanding of biochemistry, metabolomics, and proteomics is needed.
- Knowledge of genetics is considered a plus.
- Comfort working with pipettes and human specimens is important.
- Experience in scientific writing is required.
