Okara is the world's first AI CMO, designed to assist solo founders and small teams with their growth by automating distribution across various channels like SEO, GEO, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, and Hacker News. Our AI agents handle content writing and distribution, enabling businesses to scale without the need for a large marketing department. We operate as a lean, fast-paced team, and this role offers significant ownership as an early hire.

The Role

As the Affiliate & Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of influencer and affiliate marketing. This includes identifying and recruiting suitable partners, cultivating strong relationships, negotiating agreements, and ensuring that all collaborations result in measurable conversions.

Responsibilities

Identify and recruit high-impact affiliate partners through SaaS blogs, newsletters, and AI review platforms.
Source and secure partnerships with influential creators, YouTubers, and writers who engage with marketers and founders.
Manage creator briefings to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and effectively drives conversions.
Monitor key performance indicators such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), revenue per partner, and overall conversion rates.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing or significantly growing an affiliate program, ideally at a similar stage company.
Existing network of contacts or demonstrated ability to quickly build relationships with creators, reviewers, or newsletter writers in the tech or SaaS sector.
Excellent cold outreach skills with a talent for personalized and effective communication.
Strong understanding of attribution models and the ability to differentiate between partners based on revenue generation rather than mere visibility.
Proficiency with affiliate management platforms like Rewardful, FirstPromoter, or similar tools.
Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and ensure follow-through in a less structured environment.
Genuine enthusiasm for AI and the challenges faced by solo founders and small teams.
Bonus: Experience building a personal audience, newsletter, or community.
