Role overview
Lonza is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Head of Global Capability Centers (GCC) and the broader GCC leadership group from Hyderabad, India. This position plays a key role in keeping executive operations running smoothly across multiple locations and time zones while also contributing to strategic and transformation-related work within GCC.
The role is suited to someone who works well in a global, fast-moving environment, brings sound judgment and a high level of integrity, and communicates confidently with stakeholders at different levels and across cultures.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain demanding executive schedules, arrange meetings across international time zones, and take care of meeting coordination details
- Plan overseas travel, including travel plans, visa-related coordination, and supporting documentation
- Assist with administrative workflows such as invoice handling, purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and records management
- Support GCC transformation projects such as Orbit Phase II through governance assistance, documentation, and communications support
- Help with onboarding for new joiners and administer collaboration tools such as SharePoint and CoLab repositories
- Manage confidential communication, keep filing systems organized, and ensure documents are properly stored and tracked
- Provide additional administrative and operational support to leaders whenever needed
Candidate profile
- Background in an Administrative Assistant role or another senior administrative support position in a global organization
- Strong command of MS Office and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and CoLab
- Excellent planning and multitasking ability, with experience handling several priorities in a busy setting
- Clear communication and strong people skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and seniority levels
- Trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable managing sensitive information
- Careful, detail-oriented approach with well-structured work habits
- Ability to build productive relationships and work smoothly with international stakeholders
