Role overview
This position is based in Hyderabad and follows an office-first working model. Most work is expected to be done from the office to support close collaboration and team alignment, while remote work is available for up to 20% of the time, which works out to one day each week.
In this role, you will handle workforce planning systems and related workflows, turn data into practical insights, and work closely with HR, Finance, and outside partners to strengthen the organization’s workforce strategy. The job focuses on forecasting accuracy, high-quality workforce data, and recommendations that support talent sourcing and global planning decisions.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly refresh Workday Adaptive Planning data so inputs stay accurate and the system functions smoothly.
- Create dashboards and reports that answer business questions and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Build and maintain an 18-month rolling FTE forecast as the standard planning approach.
- Use Workday Adaptive Planning as a bottom-up planning tool for future budgeting cycles.
- Share projected hiring volumes with the relevant internal and external teams, such as Randstad SourceRight.
- Review forecasted hires against actual hires every quarter and improve planning accuracy over time.
- Support the EC Workforce deck by entering and validating workforce-related information.
- Assist with target-planning exercises from an HR standpoint while improving data quality and process effectiveness.
- Develop productive working relationships with global and local Finance teams.
- Collect external market intelligence to support new initiatives and M&A-related activities.
- Identify the most suitable locations for sourcing skills and job profiles that fit business strategy.
- Research talent markets across regions and judge their suitability for hiring needs.
- Evaluate local labor markets, track risks, and monitor competitor activity.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations for global footprint and workforce strategy decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, data science, or a similar field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated background in workforce planning and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable workforce planning tools.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working with complex datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA programming.
- Clear communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced global environment.
- Business-fluent English communication skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate issues and troubleshoot them early.
