The role sits in a busy, high-volume AP environment and offers the chance to work with a supportive team.

Role overview

This position supports the accounts payable process across several entities. You will handle day-to-day invoice and payment activity, keep records accurate, and help maintain strong supplier relationships while assisting the wider finance function where needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Enter and process large volumes of supplier invoices for multiple companies.
  • Prepare and issue supplier payments.
  • Carry out monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain the creditors ledger, including matching and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Develop productive relationships with suppliers and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Support year-end audit preparation and related requests.
  • Keep filing and record-keeping systems accurate and up to date.
  • Provide general support to the finance team with additional tasks as required.

Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable or accounting role in the Irish market.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with both internal teams and external contacts.
  • Good organisational ability and confidence in managing several priorities at once.
  • Desirable: experience in the construction sector.
  • Desirable: familiarity with Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT).

Benefits

  • Starting annual salary of €40,000.
  • Pension contribution.
  • Health allowance.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangement.
  • Current office attendance is 1 to 2 days per week, with additional presence for training as needed.
  • The office is conveniently reachable by motorway, Luas, train, and bus.
