Role Overview
The Account Manager for the UAE will be responsible for actively promoting Trend Micro products and services to major enterprise clients. This role is focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets by working directly with customers and by collaborating with resellers and global system integrators.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for the assigned accounts and manage them in line with the client value proposition.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their requirements, upcoming initiatives, business direction, and cybersecurity priorities, while acting as a dependable advisor on suitable solutions and best practices.
- Provide support and backup coverage to client teams whenever needed.
- Be the internal subject-matter contact for the assigned client portfolio.
- Work across teams such as technical specialists, regional account managers, and marketing to align on customer objectives and key performance indicators.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities within enterprise accounts.
- Prepare a dependable forecast and use Trend Micro’s sales forecasting, account planning, and customer relationship tools with discipline.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, market trends, and the competitive landscape across software products and support services.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Attend industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and seminars when required.
- Support the planning and execution of initiatives that promote Trend Micro’s activities.
- Record and update all relevant details in Salesforce on an ongoing basis.
Experience and Background
This position calls for at least 5 years of account management experience within information technology or security solutions companies.
Exposure to oil & gas, government, BFSI, and commercial sectors is preferred.
C-level relationship management skills are important for success in this role.
Applicants should have practical experience selling cybersecurity, networking, and IT products and solutions, along with familiarity with leading competing offerings in the market.
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud-based solutions is an added advantage.
A proven record of success in managing large accounts and delivering measurable sales results is expected.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or management is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
