3.5T Delivery Driver

Role overview

This position offers local driving work and the chance to become a trusted part of the delivery operation. The working week is 45 hours, and the role combines driving duties with regular customer interaction. Overtime may also be available.

The shift pattern follows an any 5 from 7 arrangement, so weekend working will be part of the rota.

What the job involves

Your main purpose is to help customers keep their shelves stocked with the goods they need. You will load stock at the branch, transport it to customer sites, unload deliveries, and make sure all delivery documentation is completed correctly.

What you need

Applicants should hold a Cat B / 3.5T licence and have at least two years of driving experience. Delivery driving background is desirable, though not essential. The role also requires the ability to handle manual deliveries, strong people skills, a friendly customer-focused attitude, and good literacy and numeracy.
