Role Overview

Become an integral part of Napier City Council's team by ensuring the community receives safe and reliable drinking water every day. As a Water Serviceperson, you will be actively involved in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water infrastructure that supports homes and businesses across the city.

Key Duties

  • Perform precise repairs and routine maintenance on the water supply system and related infrastructure operated by the Council.
  • Assist in maintaining the water reticulation network to guarantee effective water distribution across Napier City.

Additional Information

The hourly pay rate ranges from $30.46 to $32.40 dependent on skills and experience, with additional KiwiSaver contributions if eligible. Trainee positions are available at a rate between $28.68 and $29.90 per hour, also with KiwiSaver benefits.
