Role overview
This position focuses on running and improving Jira environments so teams can work more efficiently. The role calls for strong practical experience with project setup, automation, query writing, and issue resolution, along with the ability to work with different business groups and turn their needs into well-structured Jira solutions.
Core responsibilities
- Set up and maintain Jira projects, including workflows, schemes, issue types, and access permissions.
- Build, deploy, and troubleshoot advanced Jira Automation rules in live production systems.
- Write and refine JQL queries for dashboards, reporting, and analysis.
- Own Jira configuration tasks independently and keep improving processes with limited oversight.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective Jira workflows and automation.
