Role Overview

NTT DATA is looking for a Support Engineer (L1) to join our Chennai team. This position involves providing expert operational support for enterprise data platforms, ensuring smooth 24×7 production environment availability, and being part of a dynamic, innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide continuous monitoring and maintenance of production data pipelines round-the-clock, including shift rotations.
Perform initial incident assessment, prioritization, and classification based on severity.
Execute documented runbooks and standardized recovery procedures to resolve issues promptly.
Maintain clear communication regarding incident status, update tickets, and generate status reports.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 2 support with appropriate diagnostic information.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience supporting Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI in live production environments.
Ability to operate effectively within a rotating shift structure supporting 24×7 operations.
