Senior MEP BIM Modeller

Overview

A rapidly expanding international engineering and construction firm is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Modeller proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to assist in delivering complex construction and data centre projects. The role involves creating detailed BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems with a focus on precision, clash avoidance, and successful completion.

This position offers the chance to work on advanced hyperscale data centre projects located across the MENA region, Europe, and Asia, providing essential digital infrastructure for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain intricate 3D BIM models for MEP systems utilizing Autodesk Revit.
• Generate construction drawings, layouts, schedules, and other technical documents.
• Conduct multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection with Navisworks.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plans, project standards, and client specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability evaluations, and project coordination sessions.
• Keep models updated during the project lifecycle, reflecting design changes and as-built conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeller, specifically within MEP environments.
• Prior involvement in projects such as Data Centres, Mission Critical Facilities, or Hyperscale Infrastructure.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks software.
• Experience in BIM coordination, clash detection processes, and preparation of construction documentation.
• Strong communication abilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple project deliverables efficiently under fast-paced conditions.
