Review Officer

Overview

This permanent full-time role invites candidates interested in analysing information and identifying opportunities for organizational improvement within the Western Australia Public Sector. The Performance Assurance and Risk (PAR) Directorate independently reviews deaths in custody and discretionary cases referred by the coroner. This team collaborates closely with departmental partners to achieve shared outcomes and advantages for stakeholders.

Role Purpose

The Review Officer conducts independent examinations of reportable deaths to proactively detect potential improvements and offers advice and recommendations to assist the Coroner's investigation regarding the treatment and care of individuals while detained. The position also supports enhancing operations to reduce risks.
