Research Engineer - Contract (Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a PhD-level Research Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role offers flexible weekly hours ranging from 10 to 40 and compensation between $80 and $90 per hour. The ideal candidate will deliver expert written responses to advanced engineering queries, conduct rigorous scientific literature reviews, and design realistic experiments rooted in high-level engineering concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce authoritative, clear, and well-documented written answers to complex questions related to your engineering specialization.
• Analyze and synthesize current scientific research to provide relevant and accurate insights.
• Develop and document plausible experimental setups using advanced engineering theories.
• Interpret analytical data to enhance AI training sets with precision and reliability.
• Utilize advanced calculus and quantitative techniques to resolve engineering problems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering fields.
• Strong command of calculus, data evaluation, research techniques, and experimental design.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to simplify complex technical content.
• Proficient in reviewing and synthesizing scientific literature effectively.
• An interest or background in AI, machine learning, or technology-centered projects is advantageous.
