Product Designer

Role Overview

Qatar Airways is seeking a Product Designer to enhance its Digital Enablement team. The role focuses on crafting user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes influenced by user research and feedback. The designer will utilize AI-empowered design techniques to streamline discovery, ideation, prototyping, and design delivery, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience on the Qatar Airways mobile application and website. This involves iterative improvements based on user testing results.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business objectives by researching, sketching, prototyping, and evaluating digital product experiences.
• Create and present wireframes, user stories, journeys, and mockups adaptable to numerous devices, leveraging AI tools for enhanced quality and speed.
• Pinpoint design challenges and pain points; develop user-centered resolutions considering front-end and back-end tech advice; make design decisions informed by research and data, and communicate these to stakeholders.
• Contribute to ideation and conceptualizing new features collaboratively with creative leads, market strategists, product managers, and developers, applying AI tools to speed exploration and iterations.
• Work alongside user research and testing teams to design assessments measuring the success of new features using quantifiable metrics and understanding user behavior.
• Partner with UX leads within IT to harmonize tools and solutions company-wide.
• Collaborate with product managers to convert concepts and requirements into intuitive user experiences using AI-assisted design approaches.
• Execute other relevant assignments as delegated by the Department Head.

About You

• Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience; alternatively, Qatari nationals with a Bachelor's degree without prior experience are considered.
• Proven track record in UX Design, Interaction Design, or Product Design.
• Proficient in key UX tools such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, or similar software.
• Have an impressive design portfolio showcasing end-to-end experience solutions.
• Skilled in collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate AI literacy, eagerness for emerging technologies, and ability to responsibly integrate AI-enabled tools and workflows into product design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
