Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level I - Engine Shop

Overview

We are looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level I to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves off-wing engine, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), and component maintenance to ensure continued airworthiness and operational readiness within the scope of the engineer's license.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute assigned maintenance tasks efficiently using appropriate equipment and tooling according to company procedures.
• Document and complete all maintenance activities in compliance with technical manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize license privileges to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and corrective actions supporting flight operations.
• Provide final approval and release for maintenance work completed by mechanics, ensuring quality meets company standards for dispatch reliability and defect management.
• Ensure engine and component maintenance adheres to organizational policies to meet service schedules and deliver customer satisfaction.
• Resolve technical issues independently within authorized limits, maintaining component and engine serviceability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a High School diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent diploma relevant to the role.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related job function.
• Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) software such as TRAX or AMOS.
• Ability to determine necessary tools and equipment for repair tasks.
• Competent in applying mathematics for problem-solving and operational control of equipment and systems.
• Experience with engine shop certification processes and skills, including structural and composite repairs, is an advantage.
