Overview
Infinite Aged Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join their caring and enthusiastic team in Cairns. Positions are available both full time and part time, covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a rotating 24/7 roster. The role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 annually.
About the Role
This role involves providing resident-centred support in a respectful and professional manner, contributing to an environment committed to excellence in aged care. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive facility and regional management team that values quality, individualised care.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Preferably possess at least 12 months of prior experience working as a Personal Care Worker within aged care.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience providing daily personal care and engaging residents in meaningful activities.
- Show genuine passion for aged care and have the capacity to manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team focused on residents' well-being.
- Skilled in building and maintaining professional rapport with residents.
- Hold a current, valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance as required by government regulations and company policies.
