Packaging Supervisor

Role Overview

The Packaging Supervisor will manage daily packaging activities, ensuring efficient and safe packing of products according to established quality standards. This position entails leading a packaging team, maintaining productivity targets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and workplace safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee packaging operations to fulfill production and shipment timelines.
• Lead, train, and supervise packaging personnel to achieve high performance and compliance with procedures.
• Ensure accuracy in product packing, labeling, and quality adherence.
• Track packaging material inventory and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Develop and maintain streamlined packaging workflows to boost productivity.
• Perform routine quality inspections and address any packing or labeling discrepancies.
• Maintain strict compliance with health and safety standards.
• Generate reports regarding packaging output, performance metrics, and operational concerns.
• Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and production departments to ensure efficient operations.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse settings is essential.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership roles are preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with dedication to quality standards.
• Capable of working under pressure in fast-paced environments to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best operational practices.
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and inventory management.
• Must possess valid and permanent work authorization in Singapore (e.g., Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident).
