About the Company and Location
The job is based at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara, part of the Minor Hotels group, a global hotel owner, operator and investor. Minor Hotels operates more than 530 properties around the world, including brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels and Tivoli, located in over 50 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.
Role Overview
The Mason will be responsible for performing tasks aligned with the hotel's preventive maintenance schedule, ensuring all work areas are tidied up after completing jobs, and maintaining tools provided by the hotel in a professional manner. Proper storage of tools post-shift is also expected. Additionally, the role requires active involvement in the hotel's energy conservation initiatives and proposing cost-saving measures beyond the Engineering department.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Documented technical or vocational training relevant to the role.
- A minimum of one year experience working within a hotel engineering department.
- Solid practical knowledge in civil works or masonry.
