Overview
This marketing visual designer position, based in the United Kingdom, offers an opportunity to contribute to a global digital learning platform while working remotely. The role involves transforming marketing concepts into captivating visual content across various digital mediums, supporting brand growth and enhancing audience engagement through strong visual storytelling and consistent creative execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality visual marketing materials for diverse digital channels including social media graphics, carousels, emails, templates, one-pagers, PDFs, sales collateral, and presentations.
- Design visual elements that reinforce marketing initiatives, campaigns, and engagement objectives.
- Create and edit short-form video content such as social clips, reels, and promotional videos, as well as mid-length videos like educational and marketing presentations.
- Work closely with marketing and content teams to convert campaign ideas into effective visual solutions.
- Maintain and refine design templates and systems to guarantee brand uniformity across platforms.
- Utilize visual storytelling techniques to enhance communication, user engagement, and conversion throughout digital touchpoints.
- Adapt creative output quickly based on feedback, campaign analytics, and business requirements.
- Contribute to scalable design workflows that optimize efficiency and creativity.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of four years in marketing visual design, graphic design, or related creative roles.
- Robust portfolio showcasing creation of digital marketing assets, brand campaigns, and content.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UI/UX design principles and user-centered approaches.
- Proficiency with design software including Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing suites like After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- Experience in both short-form and mid-length video content creation and editing.
- Strong grounding in visual hierarchy, typography, branding, composition, and digital design standards.
- Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working in an asynchronous, remote-first environment across various time zones.
- Excellent communication skills fostering effective collaboration with marketing and creative teams.
- Background or interest in edtech, SaaS, e-commerce, or digital products is advantageous.
- Additional expertise in conversion rate optimization design, motion graphics, animation, or design system maintenance is beneficial.
