About the Role
We are collaborating with a leading Investment Bank to expand their generalist team based in Denver. This role seeks a driven Investment Banking Analyst with strong analytical abilities, expertise in financial modeling, and enthusiasm for mergers and acquisitions. The position includes supporting transaction execution, strategic advisory projects, and performing market research across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, evaluate, and update comprehensive financial models.
- Assist in M&A, capital raising, and advisory transactions from initial proposal through deal closure.
- Conduct thorough industry research, develop company profiles, and analyze competitors.
- Prepare presentations for clients, transaction documentation, investment memoranda, and internal reports.
- Manage due diligence activities involving clients, investors, and external partners.
- Monitor trends in the industry, regulatory changes, and market conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum one year of investment banking experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and presentation software such as PowerPoint.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and consistently produce accurate, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
