Role overview

What you will do
- Identify, research, and develop original news pieces, feature stories, and long-form articles.
- Carry out interviews, collect direct insights, and confirm information through reliable and authoritative sources.
- Write precise, engaging, and factually sound content for different reader groups.
- Review and refine articles for readability, consistency, and editorial quality.
- Work alongside editors, designers, and fellow journalists to improve the final output.
- Keep track of breaking news, trends, and subject areas related to your assigned beat.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on journalism experience with a strong collection of published work.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills, along with a strong eye for detail.
- Comfort with interviewing people and distilling complex information into clear reporting.
- Ability to work on your own and deliver within tight deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong curiosity, initiative, and analytical thinking.
- Good working knowledge of media law, journalistic ethics, and standard reporting practices.
