Intern - Infrastructure Investment

Role Overview

This internship position is an integral part of the Infrastructure Investment team, tasked with supporting various functions such as research, financial analysis, and project management. The role provides valuable hands-on exposure to infrastructure investments and allows close collaboration with seasoned professionals, helping interns build essential skills and acquire an understanding of the investment process and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research projects to discover potential infrastructure investment prospects
• Assist with financial modeling activities, including cash flow forecasting and valuation assessments
• Collect and analyze market data related to infrastructure sectors to identify trends and developments
• Prepare investment presentations and memoranda to aid team discussions
• Support due diligence by organizing necessary documentation and summarizing relevant findings
• Engage in portfolio management tasks such as monitoring performance and generating reports
• Contribute to the creation of an internal knowledge repository by summarizing industry reports and publications

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program focusing on Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline
• Strong academic performance with emphasis on investment analysis, financial modeling, or related subjects
• Previous internship experience or coursework in finance, investment analysis, or infrastructure is advantageous
• Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation methods is preferable but not mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of collaborating efficiently within a team setting
• Self-motivated with eagerness to learn and grow
• Good organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities
• Genuine interest in infrastructure investing and ambition to pursue a career in this area
