Interior Designer Assistant (Revit and 3Ds Max)

Job Overview

RemoteVA is looking for a meticulous and imaginative Interior Design Assistant skilled in Revit and 3Ds Max. This position involves assisting the design team with drafting, rendering, and administrative duties to guarantee precise, prompt, and visually impressive project outcomes.

Main Duties

• Develop detailed interior design drawings and layouts using Autodesk Revit.
• Keep project files and design documentation accurate and updated.
• Produce realistic 3D models and walkthroughs using 3Ds Max software.
• Create mood boards, choose materials, and prepare presentation visuals.
• Manage project schedules, organize files, and handle design-related documentation.
• Provide clerical support including taking meeting notes and communicating with clients.
• Help coordinate project deadlines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Between one and two years’ experience in interior design assistance or drafting roles.
• Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit for drafting and documentation.
• Proficiency in 3Ds Max for rendering and modeling tasks.
• Knowledge of V-Ray, Corona Renderer, or comparable rendering tools.
• Bonus skills include experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
