Role Overview

This position sits within HR operations in Abu Dhabi and focuses on employee exit administration, salary controls, employment-related validations, and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end offboarding workflow.
  • Administer salary suspension and reinstatement for staff.
  • Record employee updates in the Fusion system.
  • Assist with revisions to operational HR policies.
  • Compile leaver-related reports and statistical summaries.
  • Work with the Legal Department on court-related matters.
  • Coordinate matters with AD Pension.
  • Interface with MOHRE as required.
  • Engage with relevant GCC authorities.

Resignation and Termination Processing

  • Work with employees and the relevant departments to gather all resignation or termination paperwork.
  • Draft exit files, including checklists, resignation or termination notices, and summaries from exit interviews.
  • Carry out exit interviews and record the departing employee’s subsequent career destination for analytical use.
  • Coordinate with the Emiratization team for UAE national employees leaving the bank.
  • Maintain resignation and termination records in the e-HR platform and upload all supporting documentation.
  • Share the completed exit file with the officer handling EOSI calculations and the rest of the exit process.
  • Inform Payroll, ICD, ITD, RFO, RBO, Card Center, and Admin so they can complete their own follow-up actions for the departing employee.
  • Prepare monthly tracking for resignations, terminations, and future-dated resignations, and send it to the Head of MIS for filing.
  • Update or remove access in the ID Manager System according to the employee’s final working day.

Offboarding and Final Settlement

  • Compute end-of-service benefits.
  • Obtain the former employee’s signed acceptance and complete the settlement steps.
  • Coordinate with Payroll for payment of end-of-service benefits.
  • Work with GRD on visa cancellation matters.
  • Coordinate with the Collection Unit to ensure any necessary actions are completed before benefits are released.
  • Maintain a full audit trail of end-of-service benefit calculations.

Salary Suspension and Release

  • Suspend salaries for resigned or terminated employees to avoid overpayment.
  • Reinstate salaries once attendance is corrected or all required documentation has been completed.
  • Keep a record of salary suspensions and releases and circulate it to Payroll before the monthly payroll run.

Verification Requests and System Changes

  • Respond to employment verification requests from outside parties.
  • Provide reference checks for former employees when approached by their new employers.
  • Review, verify, and approve employee changes in Fusion only when the supporting documents and approvals are complete.
