Role Overview

Kota Embed represents a critical growth avenue by integrating benefit products into payroll and HR platforms. The Growth Marketer will be instrumental in turning partner customers into active policyholders. This role entails full ownership of growth strategy, execution, and optimization, directly impacting how we position and deploy Kota within partner ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end conversion of payroll partners’ customers into active Kota policies.
  • Develop compelling positioning, messaging, and packaging that effectively convert users within partner platforms, whether via Kota-built experiences or through partner API implementations.
  • Strategically time customer engagement to maximize awareness and sign-up rates, optimizing the customer journey from initial contact to policy activation.
  • Create scalable enablement resources such as standardized presentations, call scripts, and marketing campaigns for partner teams to utilize under their branding.
  • Construct lifecycle marketing and re-engagement initiatives using email, automated sequences, and retargeting to boost retention and conversions.
  • Design and operationalize the partner launch playbook to ensure consistent and predictable onboarding and growth across new partnerships and cohorts.
  • Develop a top-tier self-service experience that maximizes conversions and complements the sales team's direct outreach on more complex deals.
  • Define key performance funnels, conduct experiments, analyze data rigorously, and iterate to refine growth tactics continuously.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Over four years of hands-on growth marketing experience, ideally as an early or inaugural growth team member with direct involvement in building and managing growth processes.
  • A growth-focused marketer comfortable living in data and iterative experimentation with a proven history of owning measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in product marketing, with strength in positioning, messaging, packaging, and driving product conversion within other platforms’ user experiences.
  • Proficiency across the marketing funnel including lifecycle communications, email campaigns, conversion rate optimization, and a solid grasp of performance marketing tactics.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset characterized by resourcefulness, autonomy, and a determination to build new growth channels from scratch.
  • Experience working in fast-evolving start-up or scale-up environments; prior exposure to fintech, insurtech, SaaS, or B2B2C sectors is desirable, especially with partner or embedded distribution channels.
