Position Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items following HACCP guidelines for safe and quality food service. The role requires friendly and courteous interaction with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso and coffee orders for customers and catering using specified recipes and measures.
• Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card payments.
• Restock condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring the cleanliness of the service area.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portion sizes, and serving temperatures per HACCP standards.
• Sanitize and organize all equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean during service and ensure attractive food merchandising.
• Greet customers courteously, address their concerns, and ensure quick and efficient service.
• Explain menu items knowledgeably and promote sales through effective communication.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements and Eligibility

• Previous barista experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Open availability for varying shifts is highly desired.
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage fixed at $18.00 per hour.
