Job description

About the Role

We are seeking professionals with a quantitative background to assist in training cutting-edge AI models. This role involves collaboration with advanced AI systems to assess AI-produced quantitative work, tackle technical challenges, and offer feedback that influences how these models interpret data, scientific inquiries, and mathematical modeling. Applicants from diverse quantitative disciplines such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and related fields are encouraged to apply, especially if they approach data and models with rigor. Some individuals engage in this work alongside other full-time positions, while others focus on it as their main occupation.

Upon account registration, candidates complete a brief assessment that serves as an interview. Successful candidates will be invited to participate in paid projects via our platform.

Benefits

  • Freedom to select projects and work schedules.
  • Remote work flexibility using personal computers.
  • Competitive hourly pay rates starting at $50 to $100 or more, with additional bonuses on select projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review quantitative outputs generated by AI, including tasks like statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific evaluation, and data-driven insights to ensure accuracy and practical applicability.
  • Create and solve complex quantitative challenges to train and evaluate AI systems in areas such as forecasting, experimental design and evaluation, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Document analytical processes clearly and produce well-structured technical code.
  • Provide constructive feedback that directly informs the development of new AI models aimed at numerical and scientific reasoning.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years’ practical experience in a quantitative discipline or research setting, including, but not limited to, data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, or operations research.
  • Basic coding proficiency with the ability to write and review end-to-end analytical code.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical methodologies, predictive analytics, and experimental frameworks such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time series forecasting.
  • Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level, paired with excellent written communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative domain such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred; advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are advantageous.
  • Additional credentials, for example, rankings in Kaggle competitions or certifications in AWS/GCP machine learning, are considered a plus.

Additional Information

Payments will be processed through PayPal, which will handle currency conversions from USD when applicable. The application is open only to residents of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. This position is classified as an independent contractor engagement. Applicants will never be required to pay any fees as part of the hiring process.
